Canvas: Locate Courses

Description

The intention of this article is to provide instructions on accessing all courses in Canvas and making courses visible and hidden on your Dashboard. Go to https://duq.instructure.com/ to log in to Canvas. 

Steps

Locating Courses in Canvas

1. If you haven't logged into Canvas before, refer to these instructions. 
    
2. Visit https://duq.instructure.com/ to log in to Canvas. Click Courses from the Global Navigation Menu.
   
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the course list that pops up and click All Courses.
   
    
4. You will now see all of your courses. Click on the course name to open a specific course.
   

If you're unable to locate your course, please submit a request with the name of the course you are looking for, and a member of our team will reach out to assist you.

Making Courses Visible on Your Dashboard

1. Follow the steps above to get to the All Courses screen.
    
2. Click the star next to the course you wish to make visible.
   
   Note: A filled in star makes the course visible on your Dashboard. An empty star means the course is hidden from your Dashboard.
    
3. You will now see this course when returning to your Dashboard area.
