Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) can be used while traveling, even without Wi-Fi or cellular data. Before your trip, ensure your mobile device is enrolled in Duo MFA and has the Duo Mobile app installed. This guide explains how to authenticate using Duo while abroad.

Using a Passcode from the Duo Mobile App

  1. Sign in to a Duquesne online service, such as DORI or your email.
  2. When the Duo authentication prompt appears, select Enter a Passcode.
  3. Open the Duo Mobile app on your mobile device.
  4. Locate the six-digit passcode displayed next to Duquesne University.
  5. Enter the passcode in the Duo authentication prompt to complete the login.
