Description
This article explains how to use Software Center (Windows) and Self Service (Mac) to keep software on your Duquesne-managed computer up to date.
These applications allow users to install approved software, receive updates, and maintain required applications provided by Computing and Technology Services.

Windows
Using the Software Center
- Open Software Center by searching and selecting the Software Center application on your Duquesne owned Windows machine.
- In the Software Center, open the Updates tab on the left-hand side

- In the window on the right, a list of applications with pending updates will appear
- Click Install All to run these updates

macOS
Using Self Service
- Open Self Service by searching and selecting the Self Service application on your Duquesne owned Apple machine.
- In Self Service, a list of applications that you can install on your computer will be listed in the menu on the right. If an application has a pending update, it will be listed with the "Update" option

- Click Update to run any pending updates
