MultiPass: Update Recovery Email and DU Alert Info

Issue 

• Updating DU Alert contact information
• Changing recovery email for MultiPass
• Adding or removing mobile phone number for emergency alerts
• Managing DU Alert emergency notification preferences

Resolution 

Update Recovery Information

1. Go to duq.edu/multipass
2. Click on DU Alert Info.
3. Enter or update the MultiPass Password Recovery Email.
   • Use a personal email address that is always accessible.
4. Enter or update the Mobile Phone Number.
5. Select notification preferences.
   a. Check Opt into SMS Password Recovery to allow password resets via SMS.
   b. Check Opt Recovery Phone Number into DU Alert Emergency Notifications to receive voice alerts to recovery phone number.
6. (Optional) Enter an Additional DU Alert Emergency Phone Number.
7. To opt out of alerts.
   a. Uncheck Opt Recovery Phone Number into DU Alert Emergency Notifications for the listed number.
   b. Remove any additional phone numbers if needed.
8. Click Save when finished
9. Confirm the update.
   a. Verify the confirmation message: “Record successfully submitted.”
   b. Check for the confirmation email notification.
10. Close the page if no further changes are needed.
