How To Access Voice Mail Options

Option 1: DIAL 4600 and enter your pass code

Option 2: Call your University telephone number and let the call go to voice mail and when the default voice mail greeting plays, press the * (star) key then enter your pass code.

Voice Mail Options

Create a pass code

  • Press 8 for user options
  • Press 7 to set a pass code
  • Enter a 4-10 digit pass code
  • Press the pound sign (#) to confirm

Record your greeting

  • Press 8 for user options
  • Press 4 to record a greeting
  • Press 7 to review your greeting
  • Press 9 to save your greeting or Press 3 to re-record your greeting
  • Once finished pound sign (#) to confirm

Record your name

  • Press 8 for user options
  • Press 6 to record your first name
  • Press 7 to review your recording
  • Press 9 to save your recording or Press 3 to re-record your name
  • Once finished pound sign (#) to confirm

MiCollab Softphone Options

MiCollab softphone is a communication tool that allows you to make and receive phone calls with an internet device, such as a computer or mobile phone.

Access MiCollab Softphone Voicemail

  1. Open the MiCollab Application.
  2. Click the Voice mail tab on the left side of the screen.
  3. When prompted, enter your mailbox PIN and click Verify.
  4. Click the voice mail you want to listen to.
  5. Click the play icon to listen to the voice mail.

Reset MiCollab Softphone Mailbox PIN

  1. Open the MiCollab Application.
  2. Click Settings and then Voice mail Settings.
  3. Click Change Mailbox PIN.
  4. Enter your current mailbox PIN.
  5. Enter your new mailbox PIN and confirm it.
  6. Click Save.

Note: Your mailbox PIN for MiCollab Softphone is not the same as the mailbox PIN for your University telephone. Your default mailbox PIN is provided in an email from donotreply@vmas-37.hosted.voipnetworks.com with the subject "[External] Welcome to your new MiCollab settings."
