Operating System Support (Windows and macOS)

Description

Duquesne uses Windows and macOS operating systems to meet the University's computing needs. Computing and Technology Services (CTS) offers different levels of support for each operating system on Duquesne-managed devices.

Office Productivity Suite - Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, & More)
Students and employees can download Microsoft Office for free on a maximum of five personally owned devices.
Operating System Updates
University-managed devices using a Windows operating system (OS) will receive updates through Software Center on a monthly basis.
Software Catalog
Computing and Technology Services (CTS) licenses and supports a variety of software products.
Technology Purchases (Duquesne Owned)
Employees can purchase a new computer with administrative deparmental funds through Unimarket.
