How to submit final grades
- Log into DORI.
- Click the “Faculty Class Lists & Grading” tile.
- Select “Submit Final Grades” from the menu.
- A list of classes available for grading will appear.
- Review the Grading Status column:
- Not Started – no grades have been entered
- In Progress – some grades entered, not all
- Completed – all grades have been entered
- Click the row of the course you want to grade. The student roster will load below the course list.
- If the page layout looks incorrect or items overlap, try zooming out in your browser.
- In the Final Grade column, use the dropdown to select the correct grade for each student.
- Leave the following columns blank (Duquesne does not use them):
- Last Attend Date
- Hours Attended
- Narrative Grade Content
- When all grades for the course are entered, scroll to the bottom and click Save (bottom-right corner).
Notes:
- The Rolled column (visible on the main course list) indicates whether grades have been rolled from the roster into the student’s academic history.
- During the final grading period, the roll process may be temporarily suspended, allowing faculty to make changes.
- Once grades are rolled, they cannot be changed in this screen. Faculty must use the Grade Change Application to update a grade.
- Grade Change Application can be found back on the “Faculty Class Lists & Grading” tile.
