University students and employees receive an annual print balance of $90. This print quota automatically renews each year on July 1 (valid from July 1-June 30 each year). 

When printing from a lab computer, you will sign in with your MultiPass username and password and the cost of the print job will be deducted from your print quota. You can also use Lab Print* to print wirelessly from your personal computer or mobile device to a computer lab printer.

  • Print wirelessly from anywhere on campus
  • Release print jobs to any Duquesne public printer
  • Color print to the Union 2nd floor printer
  • Use a QR Code or DU Card swipe to release print jobs
  • Replenish print quota online via Cashnet

Print wirelessly using Lab Print

  1. Go to duprint.duq.edu.
  2. Sign in using your MultiPass username and password.
  3. Select a Duo Multi-factor Authentication method to verify your login request.
  4. Along the left side of the screen, click Web Print.
  5. Click Submit a Job.
  6. Select SINGLE-SIDED or DOUBLE-SIDED printing. Click on 2. Print Options and Account Selection.
  7. Enter the number of copies. Click on 3. Upload Document.
  8. Drag and drop the document(s) for printing or click on Upload from Computer to locate the file.
  9. Click Upload & Complete.
  10. The status of your print jobs will be displayed. When the upload is complete, the status will display Held in a Queue. (Note: Print jobs will be stored in the queue for 24 hours only).
  11. When complete, you may either click Submit a Job to print additional documents, Look at Past Activity, or Logout.
  12. Release the print job to any public lab print station via QR Code, DU Card Swipe, or duprint website.

Print Anywhere using Lab Print

Print Anywhere is a function of our lab printing system which allows users to print to a single queue from a Duquesne lab computer and release the job at any of the supported print stations across campus.

How to print using Print Anywhere

Option can be found by printing directly from a lab computer.

  1. Print desired document from a lab computer.
  2. Select Print Anywhere using the Printer drop-down list. Print Anywhere
  3. Collect your print job from any supported print station by QR Code or DU Card Swipe.

Locations Print Anywhere is available

  • Gumberg Library - Print Anywhere will be the default printer.
  • Computer Labs - Select Print Anywhere using the Printer drop-down list.

Print a webpage using Lab Print

Windows OS

  1. Go to the webpage you want to print and press Ctrl + P on your keyboard.
  2. Change your destination to Save as PDF and then click Save.
  3. Once you have saved your webpage, follow the steps listed in the print wirelessly using Lab Print section.

MacOS

  1. Go to the webpage you want to print and press Cmd + P on your keyboard.
  2. Click Save as PDF in the PDF dropdown menu located in the bottom left corner.
  3. Once you have saved your webpage, follow the steps listed in the print wirelessly using Lab Print section.
