What Is It?
Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down a test within Canvas. When students use LockDown Browser to access a test, they cannot print, copy, visit other websites, or use other applications. Once started, students are locked into the test until it is submitted for grading.

Faculty
Faculty can use Respondus LockDown Browser with any Canvas Classic or New Quiz by enabling LockDown Browser via Settings > Navigation. View the Faculty Resources above for instructions.
Note: If you are interested in remote proctoring, please email edtechsupport@duq.edu or select the Faculty/Staff - Request Support button to receive approval to use Respondus Monitor. Approval is needed since students must purchase a $15 license that can be used for one year in
unlimited courses.
Students
Students need to download Respondus LockDown Browser to their computer to use with a Canvas Classic or New Quiz. View the Student Resources above for instructions.
