Resolution/Answer

A Sponsored Account is a Duquesne account created to provide access to University resources for individuals who are not affiliated with the University in an official capacity. This includes contractors, vendors, visiting scholars, alumni, event guests, and other sponsored users. Special HIPAA Zoom Sponsored Accounts are also available for users who require HIPAA-compliant Zoom functionality.

To set up or reset a Sponsored Account:

  1. Locate the email containing the Sponsored Account username.
  2. Follow the instructions in Multipass: Reset Multipass Password article.
  3. Use the Sponsored Account username from the email whenever prompted for a username.

If the Sponsored Account username email cannot be located or verification codes are not received, contact the IT Service Desk.
