How To: Add a Syllabus in Canvas

Description

This document will show you how to add a syllabus to your course by either adding text or uploading your syllabus to the course.

Steps

  1. Click Syllabus in the course navigation menu, located on the left side of the screen.

  2. Click Edit, located in the top right corner of the page.

  3. In the text box, replace the text with a Syllabus description.

  4. Upload a Word or PDF version of your syllabus by clicking the document icon in the Rich Content Editor and choosing Upload Document.

  5. Click Upload File and select your document.

  6. Click Submit.

  7. Click Update Syllabus to save information.
