How To: Convert a Classic Quiz into a New Quiz in Canvas

Description

This article is intended for faculty to show how to migrate a Classic Quiz into a New Quiz in Canvas.

Note: In June 2024, New Quizzes will replace Classic Quizzes. New Quizzes does not have all of the capabilities of Classic Quizzes (click here for differences) as it is still undergoing development by Canvas. New Quizzes do have the functionality that most faculty-created tests require. It is recommended that you migrate your Classic Quizzes to New Quizzes before June 2024 unless you need one of the features mentioned here.
