How To: Install and Configure MiCollab for Mobile

This article will describe how to install MiCollab for mobile devices.

Steps

Configuring MiCollab for Mobile with a QR Code

You will first need to configure MiCollab softphone on a DU-managed device in order to use a QR code to deploy MiCollab for Mobile on your phone.

1. On Android or iOS, search the Play Store or the App Store respectively and find the app titled MiCollab for Mobile, or open the following links on your device:

   MiCollab for Mobile for iOS
3. On your device, install MiCollab for Mobile
4. Now, launch MiCollab Softphone on your Duquesne-managed computer
5. In MiCollab Softphone, open the Settings page by clicking the Gear-shaped icon, and then proceed to the General page
   
6. Find and open the Self Deployment option
   
7. Self Deployment will generate a QR Code. Keep this QR code on screen, and return to your mobile device
8. On your mobile device, launch Micollab for Mobile, and select the Scan QR Code option
   
9. Use your phone camera to scan the QR code that you generated on your computer
10. Click Single Sign On
    
11. Sign in to MultiPass and accept the Duo confirmation
12. You will be greeted with a Welcome to MiCollab screen; swipe through or skip the welcome screen
13. Accept the Emergency Calls warning
    
14. You are now signed in to MiCollab for Mobile!

Note

On MiCollab Softphone for macOS, the Options menu is found at the top of the screen, under MiCollab > Preferences.

Configuring MiCollab for Mobile without a QR Code

1. On Android or iOS, search the Play Store or the App Store respectively and find the app titled MiCollab for Mobile, or open the following links on your device:
2. MiCollab for Mobile for Android
   MiCollab for Mobile for iOS
3. On your device, install MiCollab for Mobile
4. Launch MiCollab for Mobile on your phone
5. Read and accept the License Agreement if prompted
6. Tap the Mitel logo at the top of the screen to change the form to a sign-in field
   
7. On the following page, enter vmas-37.hosted.voipnetworks.com for the hostname and your Duquesne email for the email, then press Next
   
8. Click Single Sign On and sign in with your MultiPass credentials
   
9. You are now signed in to MiCollab for Mobile!
