Steps

Installing ScrewDrivers on Windows

If on Windows, please follow these steps:

  1. Click your start button (or press the button on your keyboard) and type "control panel" and open that up.
  2. There, in the top right where it says "View by:," make sure it's set to "Small Icons."
  3. In the list, look for "ScrewDrivers Client v7."

If ScrewDrivers is not listed there, we recommend installing it to resolve a number of issues that may exist without it. To do so, you will need someone with administrator privileges; often, this means someone from IT. You can find the download here: Tricerat Client Downloads

  • Look for version 7.7.0 and download it.

Before installing ScrewDrivers, please sign out of Medicat completely by clicking the red "Log Off" button on the desktop.

Once ScrewDrivers is installed, there's one more little thing to do:

  • Right click the icon you use to log into Medicat, click "Edit" if it's there, or "Remote Desktop Connection" if it's not, and click "Show Options" in the bottom left if it's not expanded already.
  • Go to the "Local Resources" tab.
  • Make sure the "Printers" box is unchecked.

Once that's done, go back to the "General" tab (1) and click "Save" (2) at the bottom.

Then, click "Connect" and log back into Medicat and attempt to print again.
