Sponsored Account - Extending Expiration

To extend the expiration of a sponsored account in Rapid Identity, you typically need to follow these steps through the Rapid Identity portal:

1. Log in to the Rapid Identity portal https://identity.duq.edu
2. Click on the drop-down, select People > and navigate to the "My Sponsored Accounts" section on the left pane.
3. Locate the account you wish to extend and place a check mark next to the account.
4. At the bottom, select the option to "Certify" the account.
   • This action updates the expiration date and confirms that the account is still needed.
5. Enter the new expiration date
6. Click Certify.
