Steps

Microsoft Teams classic

  1. Select Settings and more About Version.

  2. Look for the banner at the top of the app to see which version you're running and when it was last updated. The desktop app automatically updates.

  3. Check for updates by selecting Settings and more  > Settings  > Check for updates.

(New) Microsoft Teams

  1. Select Settings and more  > Settings  > About Teams .

  2. Look under Version to see if you have the latest version or need to Update now.

Mac

  1. Select Microsoft Teams classic (next to Apple icon) About Microsoft Teams > Version.

  2. Look for the banner at the top of the app to see which version you're running and when it was last updated. The desktop app automatically updates.

  3. Check for updates by selecting Settings and more menu next to your profile picture at the top right of Teams, and then selecting Check for updates.
