SPOT Surveys

What Is It?

The SPOT Survey (Student Perceptions of Teaching) is an end-of-the-course survey to gather student perceptions of the course and of the learning as facilitated by the instructor. The SPOT survey provides faculty, departments, schools, and administrators with data to identify areas of strength, improvement opportunities, and to demonstrate continuous development.

The SPOT includes a standard set of university core questions and two optional instructor questions known as Question Personalization (QP) tasks. Student feedback is anonymous.
