What Is It?
Cognos Analytics is a web-based business intelligence software suite from IBM and serves as the University’s enterprise reporting solution. It offers a toolset to collect, store, analyze, and visualize data – helping inform better business decisions. Cognos Analytics can be used to create various report types, including charts, lists, crosstabs, dashboards, etc., as well as schedule and distribute reports.
The Business Intelligence Team within Computing and Technology Services delivers data through Cognos, leveraging Banner and other data to support your departments day-to-day operations. Available data includes Student Information, Course Enrollment, Schedule Offerings, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Finance.
