How To: Learn About Canvas (Students)

Description

Canvas is Duquesne’s Learning Management System (LMS). As a student, you will use Canvas to access content for many of your courses. The instructions below will walk you through how to access the Essentials in Online Learning course, which is where you can learn how to use Canvas along with skills you may find helpful if you take any course with an online component here at Duquesne.

Accessing the Essentials in Online Learning Course through Canvas

  1. Access Canvas through the DORI Quick Links dropdown or by visiting https://duq.edu/canvas and logging in with your MultiPass Credentials.
  2. From your Dashboard (the homepage of Canvas), select Essentials in Online Learning.

If you do not see Essentials in Online Learning listed on your Dashboard, follow these  instructions to learn how to access and favorite the course.
