This article provides instructions for releasing a print job, copying a document, and scanning to email on a multifunction printer, on the University’s wireless printing service.

Steps
Release a Print Job
	- Swipe your Duquesne University ID card.
 
	- Click on the Print Release option
	
 
	- Select print job(s) you would like to release.
 
	- Click Print
	
 
Copy a Document
	- Swipe your Duquesne University ID card.
 
	- Click on Access Device
 
	- Click on the Copy icon.
	
 
	- Place document face up in top document feeder or face down on scanner glass.
 
	- Select number of copies.
 
	- Select Output Color – Defaults to Black & White

				 Auto Detect

				 The device detects the color content in the original document. Print quota will deduct according to output color per page. 
				 | 
			
			
				| Black & White | 
				
				 This option produces copies in black and white only. Colors in the original content are converted to shades of gray. Print quota will deduct as Black & White copies for all pages. 
				 | 
			
			
				| Color | 
				
				 This option copies in full color output. Print quota will deduct as Color copies for all pages. 
				 | 
			
		
	
	 
	- Select 1 or 2-sided Copying

				 1 - 1 Sided

				 1-sided originals, 1-sided copies 
				 |

				 1 - 2 Sided

				 1-sided originals, 2-sided copies

	- Click Start
	
 
Scan a Document to Email
	- Swipe your Duquesne University ID card.
 
	- Click on the Scan option
	
 
	- Place document face up in top document feeder or face down on scanner glass.
 
	- Verify the To email is your Duquesne email address – This email cannot be modified
 
	- Click Start
	
 
	- You will receive an email to your Duquesne email address with the scan file attached.
