Science DMZ

Tags faculty staff

The Science DMZ is a completely separate 120 Gigabit network backbone on campus that is dedicated to the movement of large research data sets.  The network can connect campus researchers to various areas of research across campus, as well as the Rockwell Research Datacenter.  Duquesne operates a Globus Data Transfer Node within the Science DMZ to facilitate high-speed transfer of large data sets across campus or with external research collaborators.
