MiCollab Softphone: Installation

Issue

  • I need to install MICollab SoftPhone software
  • Installing MiCollab Client

Environment

  • MiCollab Client

Resolution

Step 1: Complete CloudLInk/SSO Setup

Once CTS enables your MiCollab account, you will receive a welcome email from no-reply@mitel.io to set up your CloudLink account. CloudLink connects Duquesne's SSO infrastructure with the MiCollab client. This step only needs to be completed once.

If you have already completed this step, skip to Step 2.

  1. Open the welcome email from no-reply@mitel.io and click Finish building your account.
  2. Click the Verify with company login button.
  3. If prompted, enter your MultiPass credentials and approve the Duo prompt.
  4. Confirm you see the message: "You're done! Thanks for creating your account."

Note: If you do not see the confirmation message, verify SSO is working by logging into the MiCollab Web Client (see step 1b below).

Step 1b: Verify SSO via MiCollab Web Client (if needed)

Complete these steps only if you did not see the confirmation message in Step 1.

  1. Open you web browser
  2. Navigate to: vmas-37.hosted.voipnetworks.com
  3. Click the MiCollab client link.
  4. Click Accept.
  5. Enter your full Duquesne email address and click Next.
  6. Click Single Sign-On, then enter your MultiPass credentials and approve the Duo prompt.
  7. Dismiss the preview, read the Emergency Calls message, and click OK. SSO is now verified.

Step 2: Install MiCollab on your device

  1. Open the software management application on your machine
    1. Windows (Software Center)
    2. MacOS (Self-Service)
  2. Locate and click Mitel MiCollab.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete.
  5. After the software finishes downloading open the MICollab application

Proceed to Step 3: Log in to the MiCollab Client

Step 3: Log in to the MiCollab Client
