Computer Hardware & Software Repair (Duquesne Owned)

What Is It?

Duquesne uses Dell and Apple computers to meet the University's computing needs. Computing and Technology Services (CTS) offers full warranty support for both manufacturers.

All University-managed computers have an end of life expiration. CTS provides:

  • Full support to equipment 5 years and newer
  • Best-effort support for equipment 5-7 years old. Replacements should be considered for these devices.
  • If the equipment is older than 8 years, or cannot support current supported OS, it will not be supported and should be recycled.

Supported University hardware should always be purchased through the Duquesne University Computer Store.
