What Is It?
Duquesne uses Dell and Apple computers to meet the University's computing needs. Computing and Technology Services (CTS) offers full warranty support for both manufacturers.
All University-managed computers have an end of life expiration. CTS provides:
- Full support to equipment 5 years and newer
- Best-effort support for equipment 5-7 years old. Replacements should be considered for these devices.
- If the equipment is older than 8 years, or cannot support current supported OS, it will not be supported and should be recycled.
Supported University hardware should always be purchased through the Duquesne University Computer Store.
