What Is It?
Cognos Analytics is a web-based business intelligence software suite by IBM. It provides a toolset for gathering, storing, analyzing, visualizing, and providing access to data which will help with business decisions. Cognos Analytics can be used to create different report types such as charts, lists, crosstabs, dashboards, etc. It can also be used for scheduling and distributing reports.

Where Can I Get It?
A service request access form will need submitted for the type of data you are requesting access to. Access requests will be routed to the requester's supervisor for approval, as well as the appropriate module owner. Training is required. Once you receive access to Cognos, go to HTTPS://COGNOS.DUQ.EDU and sign in with your MultiPass username and password.
How Much Does It Cost?
