MultiPass

What Is It?

A MultiPass Username (created by Duquesne) and Password (created by you) is provided to all persons who have an official status with the University System of Duquesne. MultiPass is your single username and password that you will use to sign into all Duquesne online resources, including DORI, Canvas, DuqNet Wi-Fi and your University email as well as all University-managed computers and podiums.

This includes accepted students, actively enrolled students, full-time and part-time employees (Faculty and Staff). In some limited cases, it may also include short term contracts with vendors, external partners or researchers.

Per University policy, all passwords must be changed (at a minimum) once per year.

When do I get my MultiPass?

As a student, your MultiPass account is created when you are accepted by the University. When you are an accepted student, you will have limited access in DORI. After you submit your deposit to the University, you will gain full access to DORI and all its content. As an employee, your MultiPass account is created when Human Resources processes your employment paperwork.

You use either your Duquesne ID number or MultiPass username to set up your MultiPass account. For students, your Duquesne ID number is provided during the admissions process. For employees, Human Resources will send an email containing your MultiPass password to your secondary email address on file.
